Founded in 2024, Cadre Energy Solutions was built to deliver high-performance contract compression services tailored for the Permian Basin. Backed by decades of field experience, our leadership team understands the demands of oilfield operations and the need for responsive, reliable support.

Craig Collins
Chief Executive Officer
Craig Collins is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Cadre Energy Solutions. A recognized leader in the contract compression industry, Craig brings decades of cross-functional expertise and field-driven insight to every aspect of Cadre’s operations. As a member of the founding management team at Kodiak Gas Services, Inc., he was instrumental in building one of the largest and most respected compression providers in North America.
Throughout his tenure at Kodiak, Craig held executive leadership roles across nearly every department—including operations, finance, accounting, supply chain, human resources, IT, legal, and sales—giving him a unique 360-degree view of the business. He concluded his time at Kodiak as Executive Vice President and General Counsel in 2022.
Craig’s leadership is grounded in real-world experience. Having spent significant time in the field, he understands firsthand the operational challenges faced by oil and gas producers. His vision for Cadre is rooted in delivering reliable, safety-first compression solutions with the responsiveness and flexibility that operators truly value.
Craig holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and Marketing from Baylor University and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law.

Jesus Elizondo
Chief Operations Officer
Jesus Elizondo serves as Chief Operating Officer at Cadre Energy Solutions, bringing over 15 years of experience managing field operations and leading contract compression service teams across the United States. His deep technical expertise in engine and compressor systems, paired with a hands-on leadership style, ensures operational excellence across Cadre’s fleet.
Jesus has extensive knowledge of federal and state emission regulations and plays a vital role in maintaining compliance across all operational activities. He has led the development and execution of major maintenance schedules, helping maximize equipment uptime and performance.
As COO, Jesus works closely with Cadre’s executive leadership to implement strategic operational plans and drive service quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the organization. His field-first approach and proven leadership make him an essential part of Cadre’s commitment to reliability and customer success.

Alex LaPiana
Chief Financial Officer
Alex LaPiana serves as Chief Financial Officer at Cadre Energy Solutions. He has over 10 years of experience in finance and investment banking, with a focus on the oil and gas industry. Throughout his career, he has been involved in a range of capital markets transactions, including equity and debt raises, mergers, and acquisitions.
At Cadre, Alex is responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and reporting. He works closely with company leadership to track performance, manage investor communications, and support strategic decision-making.
Alex holds a B.S. in Finance from St. Vincent College.

Joey Belfour
Executive Vice President of Fleet
Joey Belfour is Executive Vice President of Fleet at Cadre Energy Solutions, bringing over 15 years of experience in compression equipment packaging, OEM relationship management, and project execution within the oil and gas sector. He has led large, cross-functional teams and overseen major equipment initiatives across multiple U.S. basins.
Joey has played a critical role in managing compression-related supply chains, including navigating significant challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent global supply disruptions. His leadership has driven millions of dollars in equipment sales and contributed to the successful deployment of large-scale compression assets.
As EVP of Fleet, Joey oversees the specification, procurement, and lifecycle management of Cadre’s compression assets. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is a key force behind Cadre’s commitment to reliability, efficiency, and customer-focused execution.
